![]() ![]() ![]() I learned this on the phone with Apple support yesterday so this may be the only solution for people with the new Macbooks. It is not possible to downgrade to a MacOS lower than the factory OS that came with your product. I am not sure if this had anything to do with resolving the issue but it is another variable. One more thing, when I migrated I used a USBC cable and did direct mac to mac (my old macbook to my new one) instead of restoring from a Time Machine backup on my external backup drive. It took about 5 hours to install and then I had to reactivate and reinstall some plugins after migrating my old mac to my new one. I wiped the entire computer and reinstalled Monterey from the boot up screen. Try installing the day one update first before doing what I did. (Including Waves which I had to pay for the new v13 update and Antares). Thanks.HEY! Just wanted to say that I had this same issue yesterday and it took about 8 hours of troubleshooting but I finally got mine and every 3rd party plugin working great on my new M1 Max Macbook. ![]() Please check for an email response (look in Spam/Junk if not in Inbox) to your support case, and reply back to that if the Tech's suggested troubleshooting didn't help. I'm running out of options at this point. I tried downloading different versions of iLok manager (also uninstalling/reinstalling), tried to Sync the iLok, decactivate/activate my license several times, all while attempting reboots and unplugging the iLok (based on Google searches and threads on this forum) to no avail. When I do so, I get the "Successful Activation: Congratulations, Pro Tools 12 has been activated!" prompt, but as soon as I select continue, I get the "This software cannot be run because the activation experience thinks the authorization was found, but the wrapper could not verify it". I've been prompted to activate Pro Tools. I recently purchased a monthly Subscription license of Pro Tools 12 about a 2 day ago.I use ILok 3. What is the "wrapper" the error is referring to? I searched my OS X 10.10.5 file system system using this cmd: "locate -i *avid*wrapper*" and found hits, but everything seems like a dead end. I'm running out of options at this point.Ĭan someone help me understand how to resolve this? Based on previous threads it seems like someone from Avid had to assist on their end. Since then, I've been prompted to activate Pro Tools. Everything was going well until a couple days ago when I attempted to open Pro Tools without an iLok plugged into my USB drive. I recently purchased a student license of Pro Tools 12 about a week or so ago. ![]()
